Learn more about why we love WordPress here.

If you own the design of your current site, we can recreate a custom WordPress theme that looks just like it—or we can build in some enhancements or "freshen it up" if it's time for some updates. Or if you're ready for a redesign, we can design a completely custom and unique-to-you new look for the website, then program a custom theme from that design.

Custom themes offer several benefits compared to commercial themes, like what you would find in the theme directory:

  • Less maintenance
  • Faster speed / load time
  • Better security
  • No ongoing license costs
  • Completely unique to your business

If your site wasn't mobile friendly before, your new WordPress website will be. We program all of our websites to be responsive, which is Google's recommended best practice for creating mobile friendly sites.

Then, we'll migrate the content from the current website to the new website, along with any additional new content you wish to provide (assuming you own the content). We can also help write new content, or provide copyediting services to freshen up your existing content.

If you'd like to add new functionality to the site, now is a great time—WordPress is highly extensible and offers lots of great out-of-the-box functionality. Need something unique? We can custom program it to work within your WordPress site.

Finally, if you'd like, we'll facilitate a training session and provide a detailed user guide, customized for your website, so you can manage the site yourself, including tasks like adding or deleting pages, blog posts, images, and even adding new functionality.
